Anguilla's Altamer Resort Unveils Blue Diamond Villa
Warren utilized her years of Caribbean design experience to craft the Blue Diamond's new contemporary look. The villa's spaces were rearranged to create an airy atmosphere and fresh elements containing different textures and pops of color were integrated including hand-made clay pots from Mexico; solid, tropical wooden furniture that is Caribbean climate-friendly; resin side tables designed by Frank Gehry in vibrant hot pink, blue and white tones; and decorative pieces from RHModern. On the second level, an entertainment and media room was created for families and guests to enjoy.

Additionally, the Blue Diamond's outdoor pool and patio spaces were reconfigured to include a covered area with an overhang, dining table and indoor/outdoor furniture for guests to keep out of the sun or host sunset dinners.

Another key update at Altamer includes an upcoming renovation of the property's former restaurant space into a fourth villa. Construction will be underway soon.

Designed by architect Myron Goldfinger, Altamer Resort in Shoal Bay West, Anguilla, comprises three four-bedroom beachfront villas, which total 39,500 square feet, a pied-à-terre, conference center and 42 acres of undeveloped land. Recognized for its oceanfront views and unusual geometric aesthetic, the resort's villas including the Antilles Pearl, Blue Diamond and African Sapphire, have a spacious layout and can accommodate up to 30 guests. Ideal for families, corporate retreats and destination weddings, Altamer's key amenities range from a 24-hour butler service and onsite personal chef, to boat charters to neighboring islands and in-villa massage and spa treatments.
