The Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch, named the No. 1 Resort Hotel in the West in 2021 by both Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards and Condé Nast Traveler’s Reader’s Choice Awards, has opened for the 2022 season with six new lodge accommodations and one new luxury cabin, as well as renovations to its spa and wellness center. In addition, Brush Creek Ranch has a full lineup of unique culinary, wine, and wellness events to bring people together in celebration this summer.
“Over the last few years, we have noticed a strong desire among our guests to explore more activities focused on wellness and self-care and that prompted us to embark on a renovation of our spa and fitness facilities and expand our wellness offerings,” said Mike Williams, Executive Vice President and COO of Brush Creek Ranch. “The renovation allowed us to add additional guest rooms in the Lodge with private, walk-out patios that offer incredible views, as well as the new luxury Blacksmith cabin featuring three bedrooms, expansive living area with a grand fireplace, and expansive deck facing the Ranch’s iconic rock. We are excited to share these new additions with our guests.”
Renovated Spa and Wellness Center
At Trailhead Lodge, guests will find the spa has been expanded with four new treatment rooms, including a dedicated couples treatment room and a facial suite, as well as a new steam shower and a sauna. The new spa is inspired by the study of smoke as it’s used in both modern and ancient cleansing rituals and has long history of connection to aromatherapy and that calming the mind would bring long lasting benefits both physically and mentally. Textured slate floors, warm knotty alder wood, shades of warm gray and clean lines create a backdrop meant to calm and provide a space for wellness. The spa menu has been updated to reflect these new surroundings as well as our Wyoming heritage, using Native American-inspired tools and rituals to immerse guests into total relaxation.
In addition, the fitness center has been relocated and expanded, doubling in size – and equipment. Guests will find a new yoga and stretching studio as well as new cardio and strength equipment, including Pelotons. Wraparound wellness offerings have been expanded as well to include Goat yoga, sound bathing, tea ceremonies, and fresh pressed juices sourced from Brush Creek Ranch’s onsite Greenhouse.
New Accommodations
As part of the renovation, Brush Creek Ranch has added six new king guestrooms – including one suite – to the ground floor of the Lodge. The standout feature of these new rooms are private patios with unhindered views of the vast rolling hills and expansive Western sky. Inspired by these views, the new guestrooms are simple and subtle yet layered in textures such as herringbone carpet, knotty alder wood cabinets, honed black granite, and cream wallpaper with subtle black stitching stripes that are reminiscent of the textiles used to make wrangler’s shirts. The rooms’ furniture has clean lines juxtaposed with classic rustic finishes providing a fresh modernity to the ranch experience while the artwork throughout the rooms tells the story of the ranch in a several different mediums and styles.
The new three-bedroom, three-bath Blacksmith Cabin Residence is brimming in western luxury including vaulted timber ceilings, decadent leather seating and unique western accents. The spacious living room features a cozy fireplace and a wet bar as well as barn doors that open onto an expansive deck with an incredible view of the Ranch’s iconic rock formation.
