Baillie Lodges’ Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge opens today for the 2022 season with the first in its annual Sounds of The Sound concert with legendary singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan performing at the property on Friday, May 13, 2022.
Ms. McLachlan will play an acoustic set of her emotionally evocative songs, framed by the beautifully remote surroundings of the Clayoquot Sound on Vancouver Island, BC. Accessible only to guests of Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge, the concert will be an unforgettable celebration of music, art, and nature.
“I have a great personal love for Vancouver Island and Clayoquot Sound, and it will be a special treat to perform in this magical place!” said Sarah McLachlan.
The team at Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge led by General Manager, Sarah Cruse, is excited to welcome guests back to the property for the 2022 season. Guests of the lodge will have the opportunity to view Canada’s famous wildlife in the wild, unwind in the sanctuary of the Healing Grounds Spa, hike through the old growth forests, explore the rugged backwoods via e-bike, go horseback riding on the scenic trails and enjoy aquatic adventures from paddle boarding to canyoning. When not exploring the stunning surroundings, guests can enjoy a cocktail at The Ivanhoe and discover the renowned local flavors courtesy of new co-chefs, Mark Ota and Olivia Bolano.
“There’s no experience like this anywhere in the world,” Ms. Cruse said. “Every day our guests experience serendipitous wellbeing through dipping into the sound’s pure waters, witnessing the rebirth of the land by season and spotting eagles, seals and bears with their cubs.”
Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge is currently accepting bookings for the season from May through September 2022. To book please contact clayoquotwildernesslodge.com or call +1 (250) 266-0397.
