The 15,000 square feet Grand Royal Suite, Myanmar's largest and most secure suite served as the stately home during the summit. The self-contained suite in the hotel's Bagan Villa offers impressive meeting and leisure facilities with state of the art security features.

Kempinski Nay Pyi Taw is the company's first property in Myanmar. The new-build hotel features 141 rooms and suites, located within three one-story villas. The hotel offers a variety of restaurants: the Rangoon Kitchen brasserie, with pan-Asian and international cuisines, two Executive Lounges, the Diplomat Bar, and a Pool Bar, in addition to 24-hour room service, and a fitness club. Kempinski The Spa with eight treatment suites is scheduled to open in Q3 2015.

At the same time, Kempinski announced the signing of its second property in Myanmar, Kempinski Hotel Yangon, scheduled to open in Q4 2016.

The colonial-style former State House will be converted to feature 229 rooms and suites, three restaurants, a lobby lounge, a rooftop bar, a grand ballroom, a swimming pool and a Kempinski The Spa.

Yangon is the largest city in Myanmar, as well as the country's former capital. As the country's gateway destination and home to its main seaport, Yangon is Myanmar's most important business hub. The landmark property perfectly complements Kempinski Hotel Nay Pyi Taw to allow visitors to conduct business in both cities and explore the country.
